Tony Duckett

Tony Duckett
Tony doing what he does best

Tony Duckett is a keen bird watcher of over 47 years, and is a keen naturalist. He has worked for the Royal Parks as a Wildlife Officer based in Regent’s Park since 1977. In this role he has been instrumental in creating several types of wildlife habitats. This has resulted in new species of birds and invertebrates breeding in the park for the first time. His interest in Peregrines was ignited while watching this species performing on the coast of south west Wales. He never thought the day would come when he would be able to watch them in the skies above the park. This happened in 2002 when he saw two birds locking talons high overhead. He has been a member of the Peregrine Working Group since it was founded in 2003.
